Reporting issues with footpaths in Abberley

Councillor Kate Andrew, Abberley Parish Footpaths Officer has prepared an easy to follow guide on how to report issues associated with the footpaths in Abberley.

Procedure to assist the Footpaths Officer when reporting issues associated with the footpaths in Abberley.

Issues can be damaged stiles, blocked footpaths, broken bridges or just unsafe paths.

1. Pictures – please take pictures of the problem

2. Provide a detailed description of the issue

3. Location – please identify the footpath you are on and make a note of the problem.

a. Worcester Interactive map –

b. This map allows you to zoom in on all the footpaths in the Worcestershire region and Abberley.

c. Anybody can access this map and should be able to identify the footpath they were on and where the issue is.

d. Using the map

i. On the left hand side select Menu and a drop down will appear

ii. Be sure to check the box next to Public Rights of Way as this will show all footpaths and their numbers

iii. Make a note of the footpath number

4. Please provide all the details from steps 1 – 3 and email so that she can investigate or report to the County Council.
