Abberley Hope at Easter Displays – Report from Cllr. Kate Andrew

The response to the Abberley Hope at Easter window and front garden decorations was superb with 30 displays popping up all over the parish between Palm Sunday and Easter.  Some we knew about, some were part of the nationwide day of reflection and the WI green heart initiative, some just appeared, some even had chocolate goodies for passing children to enjoy whilst out for a walk over the Easter weekend.

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time and effort to make their colourful and eye catching displays, to Tony Chance for the map and Clare and the Care Farm students for the posters, the donkey walk and the board on the village sign.

 

I know people enjoyed walking around the parish and looking at the beautiful and unusual ideas people had come up with.
